Postby vr4boy » Tue Mar 12, 2013 7:58 pm

A guy at work has a 97 camry, think its a xv10 model looking at google. Basically he needs new tyres so wants to get some Meg's, 17's or 18's I think, just wondering what offset etc he should be looking for, as he is just guna get 2nd hand.

Cheers

I think the factory offset for them (i own one) is +50, but the wheels are pretty tucked.

Does your mate want hellaflush, sortaflush, or not even au?

EDIT:factory offset is +45
wak thud gush!

He isn't bother I don't think, he just uses it for work and after having it for years decided he wanted mags ( he didn't no cars had different stud patterns so that shows his car knowledge haha.

Cool thanks for that I'll see what on trademe for him. What would be the limits of offset for it?

18s will look comical unless it's lowered, I'd go with a 17x7" rim (5x114.3), about 35-40p offset. This is my old vzv10 from way back - TRD springs and 17x7 with 35p
