Tuning carburetors?

Postby AGRORB » Sat Jun 15, 2013 1:20 pm

Sorry for the endless questions guys, but can anyone tell me how to tune my carb? Just the standard Aisan 4K carb, no emission control or anything, all rebuilt and cleaned out, just need to fine tune it now.

There's not really a lot you can do with them bar set idle mixture and speed. Unless you get creative with jet drills.
Idle mixture is wound fully in then 1.5 turns out from memory
1988 KE70 Wagon - Slowly rusting
1990 NA6 MX-5 - because reasons
2018 Ranger - Because workcar
1997 FD3S RX-7 Type R - all brap, all the time
OMG so shiny!

Already done, they're a surprisingly simple carburetor, and I thought my old SU's were easy...
