AE86 whiteline front bar question

Postby GOLDAE86 » Thu Nov 14, 2013 9:25 pm

Bought one recently for the RC. Went to test fit it to day and the mounting points wouldn't line up etc. Anyone had any issues or come across this before?

I had issues fitting my one, it was a bit of messing around to get it all lined up properly.
I had to make the holes in the sway bar brackets that attach to the frame bigger so the bar would not foul at those points. Also the sway bar sat further out on the left side by about 50-60mm than compared to the right.
I still need to get it sorted out as I have found that it actually fouls the brake caliper on full lock.
Not sure if they are all like that or just a bad batch.

When did you get yours? I bought mine a few years ago, maybe they are still making them out of shape

Seemed to be the right one just wider at the mounting points.
