Hi guys,
I've changed the brakes lines on my FXGT. Should have been a simple task in my mind.
When I went to bleed to brakes I was getting just air and little to no fluid after trying for a long time.
My mate in the car felt no difference in the in brake pedal and the pedal would still travel to the floor.
I simply removed the old brakes lines and installed the new lines (both front).
Everything is nice and tight.
The fluid wasn't dropping in the cylinder and I couldn't see any leaks.
This makes me think the problem could be at the cylinder?
I removed the banjo bolt at the caliper and got my mate to pump the pedal and pathetic amount of fluid was dripping out.
This is my first time changing brake lines. Is there a common mistake people make when doing this?
Could it be the cylinder? Could it be the brake pedals travel not engaging the cylinder properly?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Cheers,
