Door hinge pins

Postby Boosted_162 » Tue Mar 29, 2016 7:11 pm

Working through my list of things to do on my EP91, one of the things is the drivers door hinges. It has play in the top hinge (and the hinge has been replaced in the past - funny that), so the door is drooping and a pain to close.

What is the best way to fix it? Find another good second hand unit? Or are you able to source new pins and fix the old ones?

Cheers :D

Easiest way is just to buy a replacement hinge from a wrecker. Only about $30-40 and you can take it back and exchange it if it has the same problem.

I have a local engineering shop rebuild them for me,
They do a good job and costs about the same as a pair of s/h hinges.
