Wheel noise?

Postby Technohedge » Sat Apr 02, 2016 12:16 pm

Caldina GTT has been making what seems like rubbing noise that comes and goes at different roadspeeds. Thought it was a wheelbearing but removed both hubs and theyre ok. Had someone that works at a bearing place check em.

Bit stumped as to what it might be. Is there anythi g else i can check whilst its in bits before i put her back together?

I think this has come up before - I just can't remember how long ago it was. Do a search for GT-T in the tech section, hopefully you can find it!

I remember the thread too Brad, can't remember who it was.

Is it a noise in the front or rear? In the rear, the 2 issues mostly seem to be exhaust hitting/rubbing on driveshaft and wheel bearings.

Its in the front nearside. Sounds like a rubbing and happens at different speeds. 40k and 60 and 80 seem to be different tones.

Put it back together now he alarm is playin funny buggers and it wont start.

Time for a new thread!!!...
