Caldina GTT Boot handle

Someone's got one of these: Toyota Caldina 2000 St211 goin spare for parts, will the boot handle fit the Caldina GTT?

Tryin to find a replacement for the standard broken boot handle on my GTT.

also does anyone know how much Toyota would charge for a replacement (if they would even do one without supplying the whole boot?

What year is your Caldina? As there's a difference between the pre-facelift and facelift tailgate handle trim (the hole where the lock barrel is different). You can get a brand new one from Toyota for around $95 + GST from memory. At a wrecker you'll pay around $75 + GST secondhand, if you can find one that isn't broken.

Cool, yours is a pre-facelift. The difference between the two is the height of the lock barrel/button. Pre-facelift is skinnier and taller whereas facelift is shorter and fatter.
