What are these things ???

These were included in a Toyota AE92 4AGE overhaul gasket set, but I've
never seen them before...



Only 1mm thick so I am guessing some kind of shim ? If someone could let
me know where they go/what they do that would be great

They look like locking tab washers. This is a good way to spend time at work until 5

the round one looks like some kind of coin....

Could be something like that, but tab washers usually have a lug in the
bore or a shape that stops them rotating with the nut.

They don't show up in the overhaul kit parts diagram or any of the engine parts diagrams I've looked at.
What was the part number for the kit?

Toyota kit number 04111-16192 which looks to be about right for this...



Looking at the top pic I seem to have all the kit parts shown. So I think it is
likely that these are a couple of random parts that found their way into the kit
while no-one was looking
