ae101 bz touring wagon 6speed shifter..

hi there toyspeeders have not been on here in awhile but i need some info so i thought id ask you guys.

just a quick update my 4afe turbo wagon got crashed into so i picked up a 1999 bz touring wagon cheap was going to swap the 4afe turbo straight over into it but now since i got a blacktop motor with the new wagon im going to slap the 4age 20v blacktop head on my to my forged 4afe motor and hopefully make 350hp atw.

but more on that later if i can be stuffed.

ANYWAY on to my question now my new bz touring wagon comes with a 6speed (which is for sale btw) now i want to use my 5 speed lsd

what i wanted to know is can i use the short shift that comes in my bz touring for the 6 speed on my 5 speed lsd? would i have to swap the 6 speed cable with some 5 speed ones or would that still not work ? i dont mind just thought the short shift was cool. i can use the bulky 5 speed shifter if i have too

as i was thinking the 6 speed shifter might not go in the right position for reverse on the 5 speed ?

can anyone shed some light ?

Can't help you with the actual question. But I'd be interested in buying the c160 (and short shifter!) Depending on condition. The one in my sedan has crunchy 4th gear synchros
