What bell housing is this ??? ROUND TWO !!!

Postby jondee86 » Fri Sep 22, 2017 4:10 pm

Can anyone identify what engine this bell housing would have come from ? It fits the
early 20-spline T-50 with 62mm dia input shaft bearing, but it does not bolt to A-series.

I've goooooogled my ass off, but can't find anything that matches this. Ot did come to
me with a DIY cable shifter conversion bracket bolted on, but I'd say it was from a car
with hydraulic clutch. The only markings anywere are "3-1" in one of the pockets on the
gearbox mounting face.

Got it sussed after a bit more looking on the interwebz. It's a T-series bell so maybe
useful to someone. If that's you... let me know :)

I.ve got another bell housing to try and identify. This one is proving to be more
difficult to figure out...

The bell has been mofified with a steel plate to match a different gearbox. Going
by the bolt pattern I would guess a W50. A window has been opened up in the side
to accommodate athe clutch fork. The bell looks a little bit like a 4A but it seems
to be a bit smaller and definitely won't fit a 4A.

So if anyone recognises their handiwork or can tell me what engine this this bell
was originally fitted to, I would like to know :)
