leave the tubes on they make a smoother entry for the air. i have 50 mm stacks with socks on mine. dunno if it's an faster but it sounds mean on full throttle, louder most exhausts. but it only makes the usual amount noise under normal driving which is good. but if u thrash it for too long u'll get a headache, it's a low frequency pulsing that $&#$% with ur head. i think i need some bonnet venting to keep some of that hot air off my intake. the other problem i've got is the pipe that goes from the steering box to the surge tank, i dont know what to do with it. i have the head and crankcase breathers into a catch can, but the other hose is very small and i dont know what it's for or what i should do with it.

thanxs i might put the tubes back on in tha weekend or if i get time during the night soory dude cant help you with your tube problem.
