judst6 off the top of my head, correct me if im wrong but if you put a heat shield under the ic of a top mount, then that would restrict air going into the engine bay, which i think would then reduce the cooling capability of the car??
Have you got the hots? for what's in the box with the dots? ..... 0800 30 40 50

TRUE this is true
the air temp around the engine will change it will get hoter only by a bit

but hey im not pulling the monkey out of the guy it was a good idea and it would be good for a full on track/rally car if your constantly moving " intill the sheild heats up like an oven "
