My wifes brother drove her parents car into a pole.
Lost it on a bend and slid straiaght into a pole between the headlights har enough for it to crack the engine block and insurance had to fit a new motor. ( 6 month old nz new corolla)
The cops measured it out and said,
" from our calculations he was doing less than 50 kph"
