Why did you need to cert lowered springs? was it below 100mm? Thats pretty low!

Haha nah, depends on the type of car...Superlow Kings take plenty of cars under 100mm around the crossmember area...

I think your best bet at the moment is to go on the lvvta website and call a certifier thats listed on there close to you.
Tell him you are thinking about buying a car with those mods, and find out if it needs a certification, as it doesn't have one and you don't want to buy it if it needs one.
That way you should get an unbiased opinion from someone who knows what the story is with certs!
If he says no you don't then go back to the WOF guy with the certifiers details and explain.
We can give you all the advice we want.... But we're not certifiers!!!
Good luck

Thanks! Well the update is I failed on rear springs not captive and wiper blades lol so getting that sorted. I think by looking at the legislation I have modified it so require a cert. I'll get my springs captive and get a warrent then get a cert soon as poss. I can't swap my seats over as they are now modded. I want to make sure it is fully legal :D , warrent was done at VTNZ too.

So all in all the guy was right all a long and I didnt wanna have to pay $300! oh well i'll just have to bite the bullet!

i got a racepro fixed bucket seat in my car and went to the tezting station on sunnybrae rd in glenfield, he looked at the seat and shock it and then gave me my wof. i got two pieces of 5mm steel going from ril to rail with seat bolted on that. it was fine for him.
when i got my cert in my ke20 with the 3sgte i had no heater as the new firewall came back about 6", rite where the heater and fan was. i even had the throttle sticking thru the bonnet, the only yhing the certerfier was concerned about was who did the welding for the drive shaft and engine mounts. showd him reciepts for the drive shaft and said i welded mounts, and thats was sweet. i think it just depends on certifyer. they all seam to be differrent about different thing.
