Couldn't agree more. I'll attack pretty much anything, cause pretty much anything is possible its just a matter of how much time and or money tyou have to spend. that being said, some things are definitily alot easier than others...... JZN130 for example ;)

project should be underway in mid january with the purchase of the grandma spec fully optioned white manual st183 gtr celica. Then in febuary im looking at purchasing the drivetrain and from there on im taking it as it goes. im expecting big costs and im guessing its going to take longer than i expect but with steady work and cashflow hopefully my dream will become reality! 8)

Hey, sorry to steal your thread here, its kinda along the same lines, What would be the chance of taking an AE92, taking the engine out, putting an engine in the back, like the Clio V6's, maybe taking the engine ond gearbox out of a SW20...??

Maybe putting a fuel cell in the front with the spare wheel to balance it out?

Ha you would find the front getting twitchy/understeer when your gas was

low!

You would need a whole lot of chassis reinforcing if you wanted to put it in the back...

i was thinking of getting my ae82 corolla, adding an extra couple of wheels so it will be 6 wheel drive

hopefully with 1 engine running each wheel (such as a suzuki 800 engine so it fits in the car)

i was also thinking i might get a pod filter for each engine for extra horsepower

oh and then drift it

what is wrong with the idea, it dosn't seem deserved of the realm of 'pipe dreams'.

i personally don't see where the big issue is, if he has a few clues and some 'kiwi-cleverness' or No.8 wire technology, then there is no reason why it can't be done at a reasonable cost, just to say that it has been done. everyone told me it is way cheaper to buy a built race/rally car than to build one, essentially i re-shelled (with the first cage i've ever done), my old rusty KE70 for the cost of the safety gear and was far cheaper than a 3/4 rooted old rally car i could have bought if i wasn't such a tenacious c@#t. i had the buld in theory, and adapted my practical skills to suit.

go for gold, i reckon, but have a look at some of the other vehicles that have been done in a similar fashion to get your head around was needs to be done( if you don't know already.
