You mean, on the intake, mayhaps?
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

I was going to say no. I remember Dave pointing out that the reason it's only single VVTI is that the strut tower gets in the way of the VVTi pulley thing, and I figured it would be the intake that would be effected by this, but I looked at some pictures, and it appears you are right.

Who cares anyway...I was just making a point

The extra you get from having variable cam timing on the exhaust isnt much anyway compared to the intake, its not as important to be able to ajust it. Start with a good duration and lift and your set.

they weren't, but they failed to divulge the secret of getting huge gains out of the engine. i know there will be knocking on the door early in the morning for broadcasting this, but there is some information that needs to be shared.

components required for 800WHP :

CT26 automatically bumps it up to 450HP,

fit 2 flux capacitors, inlet/exhaust 510-ish (supplier dependant),

install valves and pistons from a Mazda 13B bridgeport(must be a bridgie, peripheral port pistons will bump the compression up too much) close to 700HP

shoehorn the radiator from a '67 (has to be 67) VW Bettle on a 45 degree angle in front of bumper and grille (i can't stress enough, '67 Beetle/45 degrees) 800+hp easy

see, didnt someone tell you Repco never had any stock?

Supercheap - get a bi-linear piezo electric pulse wave generator (they sometimes have to order these in)
the last one i got from them took a week to come in, cost me $99. and one hour to install.
Fitted it to a 3S-FE Curren (pretty much a Celica). the arse dyno showed an increase of around 40HP at the wheels, man can that thing drift now

you should buy my tacho with internal and external shiftlights <click me for pic> , it will pull the ladies and allow you too see how much improvement youve gained thru your mods

Thats crap, we usually keep one in stock, though there arent many in the country at the moment. I've got one in our branch, can freight it up if you're keen.
Those bi-linear piezo's are garbage, they crap out after pulling 14,000rpm too many times

flux capacitors are model and variance specific for what model you need it for. Get extra for more hp. Maybe try those pistons and sparkplugs from the 13b??? Also maybe using left hand thread spark plugs good for 30hp

Jeez, you guys really do talk rubbish sometimes

Agressor, if you want to get some real power gains from a 3SGE, get either of these...

Trust me, these things really do work. I'm fitting one to my 3SGTE in place of a CT20B. Much cheaper and far more effective :D
