thats good to know. just bolted a C56 in today... well sort of. one of the mounts isn't lining up.. so all i need then is the link and the cams and ......

If it has tits, tyres or wings it'll cost you money!

How about you guys remember to check the oil pickup gasket surface is DEAD flat so your brand newly rebuilt 4agte doesnt run dry of oil at idle and grind all 5 mains and all 4 big ends to shreds...and then pump the metal fillings up to the head and grind away the cam (after filling up the brand new oil filter to the point the baypass valve lets the metal past).......

And yeah, my one silvertop, 165on the clock and the insides looked like new, NO marks on the bore, nor rods or anything, guess mine must've been looked after. Can't see any wear around the holes on my rods ethier.
