There is no way to tighten the belt if you remove the pump. Dickhead.

If someone is making these up I could be keen for one also. Regarding the first post, the condenser is the a/c radiator at the front of the car, you are talking about the compressor :)

i made the offer at the start to do this i just need one to make the template off again as i dont have a 4AGE any more but if any 1 is intersted PM me

i took the a/c pump off my 4age, got a smaller belt and it was fine. The tensioer was separate to teh pump so it tightened fine. Unless yours is somehoe different (mine being redtop to) its should be fine with a smaller belt

Do you have a 4agze? As they have a different set up. 4age's usually use the a/c compressor as the tensioner for that belt.

is that pulley ribbed? because mine isnt and the belt just slips off and ends up getting chewed up.
