well said, problem being that endeavor could be well near the only option for off the shelf gilmer pulleys for the 4age. unless you're barry.

good thing this has come up, because I have one of their kits in my budget.

ke_25, can we clarify if the hole is too big from factory or has the alloy not retained its strength and given way, creating a bigger hole? I think this is an important factor.

either way, it sounds like the wall thickness around the centre needs to be greater to create more support & strength. then the sleeve where it fits the crank needs to be tighter, to something like 15 or 10thou? im sure endeavor wouldnt mind a slight modification to their design, if it was a great benefit.

at a guess and iirc, the thickness of the wall around the center hole on a factory 4a harmonic ballancer pulley would be near 35mm, give or take 10mm. with the gilmer, it wouldnt have to be near that though, as the weight on the pulley is very minimal. but it could be not enough @ only 5mm.
ke_25, could you measure the thickness of the wall around the center hole?

I hope we can find a resolution for this :?
