Exactly, its much easier to make/buy spacers than cut the parcel shelf anyway!!

OT but funny how they call it a parcel tray/shelf when you will fail a WOF if theres anything on there that aint bolted down!

The law is. If the seat belts arnt bolted into the parcel tray or its front support panel. then there is NO problem. E.G seat belt bolts into c pillar no problem. seat belt attaches to parcel tray = repair. luckly on my evo 5 they go into parcel tray witch means there is nothing to be certed.

Reason for rejection: "has evidence of corrosion damage (Note 13 and
Note 17) or structural damage within 150 mm of
a lower seatbelt anchorage mounted in a wheel
arch, or within 300 mm of any other seatbelt
anchorage. "

Doesn't matter if its on a C-pillar or parcel tray. If its structural damage within 300mm of the anchorage then its not a pass
