When i went to get a genuine filter it was $22? so i would say no more than $25. The TRD ones seem to be around 40+ but to be honest i wouldnt bother, spend that extra 20+ dollers on higher quality oil.

If you look for 1i1 in the members list, he works at Manawatu Toyota. Hes pretty helpfull and friendly, and can sus you out prices for anything you may need, so hit him up :)

not sure about the gearbox oil sorry, but if you look at the info plate rivoted to your firewall, look for the transmission section and a code ending with C will usually have an LSD, if not then just a good quality auto trans oil should be fine.

woops, forget about the last post, thought u were asking about filters.

I know toyota have their own coolant, but not sure about oils, at manawatu toyota they seem to endorse Castrol.

dont worry about genuine fluids
there are some, but you don't need them and can get the same quality by buying good quality stuff from castrol etc
the LSD's used int he ae111s are torsen type so don't use LSD oil

Toyota recomend atf dextronII for the blacktop auto transmission but its been superceeded to dextronIII.

You will want dextronIV.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DEXRON

DEXRON-IIE has been surpassed by DEXRON-III as of January 1, 1994

All DEXRON-III licenses expired at the end of 2006, and will not be renewed. Beyond that date, General Motors will only support the use of DEXRON-VI fluids for use in Hydra-Matic transmissions.[1] Fluids claiming DEXRON-III type performance continue to be sold under abbreviated names such as Dex/Merc, and D/M however since the DEXRON-III licensing system no longer exists, these fluids are not regulated in any way.

DEXRON-VI was introduced in 2005. It was designed to replace all prior specifications, and is therefore backwards-compatible with applications calling for DEXRON of any type.
