Just make sure you've done all the mods you want to it. As after cert, even a wheel change will require a new cert.

Fun times aye.

Yeah the only stuff I have planed for it would be turbo and some of bazdas coil-overs. Then maybe a cage if I want to get serious with track work

Dell'Orto wrote:Those ammendments are brilliant...under previous guidelines, it would appear that if I were to fit a 5K to my Corolla, I would have needed a cat, even though they were never factory fitted.
Also not having to have your turbo car read 13.8:1 a/f under full load is another win.

No cat required for me either now...

How long do you get to rectify all that's needed before you have to pay for a re cert?

I don't know the deal with your cars history. But check the flowchart and see if you need a cat

http://www.lvvta.org.nz/documents/infos ... vision.pdf

"Play in rear wheel bearing"
I had my rear bearing tightened slightly YEARS ago as there was play. Been fine since 5+ years I imagine. Could be worth getting looked at by someone you trust.

May or may not be the solution for you.

The wheel bearings are easy to sort out, just need to give them a small nip up. I think their loose as i removed the drum to fit new brake shoes and didnt want to overtighten them again.

According to that chart i dont need a cat as it was first registered before 2010. :? Ill email him a link to that tomorrow and see what he says about it.
