I find this site quite good for jap car statistics. www.cars-directory.net

Very nice the 3.0GT soarer but there just to darn expensive. at least a couple more grand than my v8 soarer cost! I guess ill have to buy one later when the price come down but probably by that time id want something faster like a TT soarer, then their quite hard to insure. I wonder if NAC would inusre one for under 25s

Yes they will.
And they are not very expensive.

I can vouch for this out of personal experience...

PS. I'm sorry but I have to ask this... You bought a V8 and then found out it's not economical? - How does that work when you knew you were buying a V8...? :?

Sorry I'm just failing to comprehend.

lol....... i kind of bought it just to see what it was like. Great car just a bit to expensive with the gas costs. I predicted they would be rather high before i got it. Even the lady i bought it off said she selling it due to the expensive running costs.

I had it for about 4 weeks and spent around 200-250 on gas a week. So it wasnt really practical, especially since i had a heavy foot :P Great fun tho!!

I got a quote from NAC.. they will insure a TT for me.

Annual premium $1,500 and an excess $1200 not to bad... really surprised they will insured one of these when they didnt with my v8.. v8s slower than a tt anyway! :? Guess it must come down to v8s and their displacement!

Double check that policy ... there may be an excess for your car and another excess for any other cars damaged in an event where blame is laid on you.

Read any insurance documentation carefully, and read it twice with NAC.
