Errmmm....You have a GE or a GTE block? If you don't want to use I'll gladly take it off of your hands.

Gene I'm not too sure whether the shafts will work but I'll find out and get back to you. Might be a semi good idea if they work to bore out my housing a bit and fit those shafts. Will save the turbos a bit longer and I'll be able to run a bit past 1bar at least without worying about fins flying out of my exhaust. :P

I have thought about buying a whole 2JZ-GTE and just using the 1JZ in another car like an MKIII but that's not relly financially feasable for me at the moment as I haven't bought another MKIII yet so wouldn't have anything to put the 1JZ in. She'll be good for around 300rwkw+ which is not very hard to achieve so I once I get past that point I'll be looking at a 2JZ or 1.5JZ depending on my financial situation at the time.

GE block with 1jz pistons. Ex john shannon, has run over 300rwkw, can't remember the exact figure. has oil feed drilled for single turbo setup. part of reason for not using it now is don't trust the pistons, and complete setup of 2jz pistons were gonna hit the balance a bit hard. other reason is going to stick with the 1jz, and just work that instead. think the $900 for the pistons for the 2j would be beter spent on turbo's, new front mount, bov and diff, so can see where my money's going.

if you want the block, buy a HKS SSBOV from twisted, and i'll swap ya

nah, you keep the 2j rods, as thats where you get the stroke. so you're still using the n/a rods but unless you're going for over 400rwkw, they should last fine.

I don't have the MulaH right now but if you give me a $$ figure and can hold on to it for a wee while I'll gladly take it off of your hands. 8)
