so what was the final problem in the end apart from the pump?

music to my ears i tell ya, even if it was a tractor with only exhaust manifold! ran sweet, started 1st pop, just idled abit high they guys gunna play with that.

the -ve wire from igniter was to earth not coil -ve and some of the wires goign to the coil was all wrong and wires to dizy was in wrong place on the plug.

going for extractors to be made saturday morning, bonnet / 1/4 panels wednesday next week and driveshaft this week hopefully.

we were playing with the pins in the plug to the dizzy, we thought they may have been in the wrong places. after we gave up he had to put them back in the right palces.

we were talking about wiring fuel pump up through relay and ECU so it fuel pump cuts out if engine isnt cranking or running. found the relay. he reckons its a big job. i might leave it for now will get it done after i come back from taupo Track day (Works hiring track )
