So I had another go, now I remember why I couldn't do this without the FC-HAKO.
The PowerFC"s MAP is load points x rev.
The load points are just a reference that is a combination of throttle and MAP sensor input, so it's all over the place without the ability to be referenced to something that's logged by the data logger, which is either RPM or MAP voltage.
No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.

I've actually test driven the blue 2gr beast while I was down in palmy. One hell of a job the builder's done to get it in so nice and tight. I am not saying it runs crap, because it runs okay. However I feel that in this case.. getting it in and running right is one thing. But getting the 2gr in and having it run like it does on an aurion is certainly quite another.

It just lacked a lot of refinement, I didn't like the drone from the exhaust, lack of low down torque which I know the 2gr should easily deliver. A much better swap candidate than any v6 vz mz etc but I wouldn't consider it being better than a 3sgte. My tractor engine 4banger felt more refined for lack of a better description. (Maybe the blue thing should have kept the original manifolds and cat converters  )

I never found the Aurion to have huge low end torque (probably dulled by the weight) but the midrange shove they have wins every time
1988 KE70 Wagon - Slowly rusting
1990 NA6 MX-5 - because reasons
2018 Ranger - Because workcar
1997 FD3S RX-7 Type R - all brap, all the time
OMG so shiny!
