Just wondering what induction noise on the blacktop sounds (with POD filter and semi standard exhaust) like when the VVT is working?
My blacktop goes real nice, the engine sounds mint when Im not using the VVT (even in the higher revs), however when I put my foot the floor and the VVT starts working I get some more induction noise and then a mettalic tang (not a bad noise, quite nice actually) sound has the revs go through the 4-6000rpm range.
Having had a Honda with cold air intake previous, the sound is quite different.
Im guessing this is normal as everything about the engine is mint and shes only done 100k.

So can anyone confirm or deny this for a blacktop??
Robert Watson wrote:if you are running a cold air box that is sealed you will also loosoe induction noise so its a matter of all noise no go or a liitle bit of noise and heaps of go go, the other thing that i found out with the quad throttle bodies is that the throttle bodie furthest away from the air filter struggels for air dont know why.
