Help on picking ignition coil for 4age

i have a bluetop 4age and the coil blew and i was wondering whether to go back to the standard coil ($110) or keep the performance one i just bought. i bought a gt40r($55) coil from super cheap auto just to keep me going cos repco couldnt get the standard ones instantly. the GT40R doesnt have the proper clip so i have to use speaker wire (dodgey). i was wondering if i should go back to the standard coil or if there was some way to securely hook the GT40R up to my car. help would be appreaciated... cheers...

cut off aold terminals. crimp suitable terminal on to wiring and plug on to performance coil.
