ABS SENSOR???????????

does anyone know if you can drive around with out the " one ABS sensor not hooked up " abs sensor hooked up

???????????????????????????????????????????????

ive been with out one for 2years had no issus :D
i even taken the little bulb out..

yea it all good, but kinda unsafe as you'l lock up your brakes of you plant your foot.

Sometimes it allows water into the hub which can damage wheel bearings over time

ways around the wof thing depending how they check it... but why are you taking the sensor off?

im not taking it off the cv joint broke and poped out and distroyed the left hand side "drive side " to put it simpily it went all pear shaped i repeared the hub shock disk etc with both new and 2nd hand parts but i need a abs sensor theres nothing 2nd hand in the country so i have to go genuine

about $345 my costwhich is the best i can do through toyota

I've got all the abs sensors off a super strut Curren. You might have to do some homework to see if they are the same as the AE101 abs sensor.
1995 Toyota Curren, ST206
Superstrut, ABS

Left front ABS sensor $75 including postage.

i shiit u not im a parts person by trade plus one of my good mate works at toyota i gave im all the info he needed and i let him do the walking for me " fopr the new part " while i was trying to find a second hand one " ive got contacts all around nz and they could not find one anywere "

ive got the part number try this????
89543-12031 <- thats the front left hand and i know for a fact that toyota nz do not have one ex the shelf
pm me with the price i would be intrested to know what you can come up with

10k 20v as sorted one of his ones out for me anyway

oh by the way curren/coronas etc there abs sensors are diff anyway

thats some nasty down time six weeks on a boat
i can get parts ex lamborghini in 7 to 10 working days ex italy and thats air freight and freight free
but in saying that my sea freight can take up to three months

Mr Revheads price is good, I paid $340 ex Japan through GTC Toyota when I replaced the one in my Celica.

small $about $75 thats the raging bull
medim $ about $150+ just the word lambo
or large in chrome $150+

i will have to comfirm these prices as i dont and cant rember the part numbers of the top of my head
