Dytech Mufflers

Postby phat_levin » Tue May 04, 2004 10:45 am

I recently got a quote from race ready performance on main south road chch for 2 dytech mufflers ($200 each) to be put on2 my '92 20v levin and to procoat the headers ($180) and the guy quoted me $1100 which seems to be quite excessive - comments? also he planned on using 2 1/2 inch and splitting it to 2x 2 1/4 leading into each muffer, is this suitable?

any help would be great :)

Ive got 2.5' on mine split into two 2.25' stainlesses. I think 2.5 is too big youll get the hell raspy sound which i have and itll be pretty loud, unless you have 2 or 3 resonators which will quiet it down. Go for 2.25 down the middle and let it branch off with two 2.25s.

theres been topics of how to get 20V sounding nice, try searching for it

you could look at doing away with one of the mufflers and just having a single system.
from what ive been told the extra one doesn't really achieve much just adds weight and cost
