leave the petrol sitting in your car without driving it until it goes bad? coz my cars been sitting dormant in my driveway for about 2 weeks now.
why? coz its $&#$%!! waiting for bigger crank:cry:

WEVE DRAINED GAS OUTA CARS THAT HAVE BEEN SITTING FOR YEARS AND IT WASNT STAIL ONE CAR HAD THE SAME TANK OF GAS FOR 2 YEARS AND WAS STARTED ONCE A MONTH (MORRIE MINOR)

BUT I DONT KNOW ABOUT THE NEW STUFF

ususally it depends on the mositure but wa ull be right man if u leave it for like 6 months it will still be ok.

Unleaded fuel has (I'm pretty sure) additives that have a higher volatility than the basic petrol. Volatility is related to how quickly it will evaporate.
These additives give a higher octane rating (which is good) instead of using lead (which is bad for your health).
What happens is that the additives can evaporate and so the octane rating of the fuel will drop a bit - it will still burn ok though!
If the petrol is kept in a sealed container it can be good for years.
If you are parking a car up for a while maybe make sure that the tank is full to minimise any water condensation forming.

i would ask the same thing, did a bearing go and fuxx your old one so bad it couldn't be machined out??? (only thing i can think of which would screw a crank)

nope my mechanic changed my cam belt and did not tighten the crank pulley enough and came loose and started eating away at the groves king toyota said lucky it didnt ground down my crank shaft too otherwise $$$$

my mechanic is paying for a new one anyway so yea its all good
