st184 or st185???

hey there im having trouble detiermining whether my celica is a st184 or an st185. is a 1991 gtr model. it has the 2.0L engine except ive notcied alot of other gtr celicas have a 4ws badge, mine doesn't. do i have four wheel steering aswel? could someone plz help me out here as i have no idea wat it is.

First off - The ST-185 is the GT-Four model, which is 4WD Turbo.
The GTR 4WS is the ST-183
The GTR non- 4WS is the ST-182

It tells you the chassis model number on the plate on the firewall in the engine bay.

184kw @ 14psi at the front wheels (Now running 17psi watch this space for dyno :) )

the st184 came with the 5sfe engine, thats a 2.2 so i doubt you have that one...
get me the full model and frames and i can tell you exactly what it is

are all the convertable 5th gen celicas american?... no JDM ones?

I beleive the 5th gen convertibles are all 5sfe and have the american ST style body. Which says to me that there were no JDM versions

what do you mean by 5th gen????
there where st18# series convertibles ex japan 90-93
and st20# 94-99
