Alternator brushes?

Postby aesc » Thu May 20, 2004 7:54 pm

Or is it bushes? I cant remember... :?

Anyways when I have my sounds up, my headlights/dashlights dim with the bass. Is this because the alternator brushes need replacing or is it something else? How could I fix it?

means you altenator & battery cant keep up with the amplifiers demand for power when those bass notes hit. A 1farad cap _Might_ help, otherwise its bigger altenator & battery time.

Oh, and check all your connections too, good earthing etc can help too.
