5A-FHE => Problems

as a daily driver i've got a ae91 with a 5A-FHE 1500 in it, it sometimes has trouble at idle it splutters and will die(and take ages to crank over again) , It sometimes does this up to around 3000rpm(splutters) but then drives as normal. Then sometimes it will behave sweet as. I've checked plugs and leads and it has spark, changed fuel filter and it has heaps of gas at the fuel rail. hav'nt had time to check other things like injectors/electrical stuff just wondering if anyone heres had a similar problem?
