Checking Supercharger Oil?

Postby Pelo » Sat Jun 05, 2004 9:37 pm

OOooook... I searched high and low but couldn't find anything.
HOW do I check my supercharger oil on my MR2, and top it up!?!? It started making a high pitched squeal in first gear above 4k rpm, might be a bit low on goo? The belts aren't slippy.[/b]

There should be a yellow wingnut on the back/top of the s/c unit undo this and pull out the short dipstick to check level
Are you sure the belt isnt slipping as they are bad for it and need to be tensioned correctly and the belt needs to be in good condition :!:

See me on trackday - I will bring my s/c oil and will help you check your oil level.
