Soarer Manual Gearbox shifter postion?

Hey, im doing a conversion of a 88 GZ20 Soarer from auto to manual and was wondering if any one knows the sifter postion for the gearbox i need to get? Cause it varies from front to back buy 3.5 inches, so im told..

Anyone done this before?

not positive, but I think its the same as the supra- right to the back.
