Radiator fan prob on FXGT

hey i have a nz new gt nd the radiator fan works some times but not others i mean like when its over heating or sittin in traffic it may or may not work how can i fix this is it my thermostat

You need to test or eplace the fan switch which is normally located either in the bottom of radiator or on the water fitting on the end of the cylinder head buy not sure which on your model.
If the switch tests ok then look for a fault at the fan relay.
