Not from our records.

The TA63 has a 7.5" diff. The turbo GA70 has a 8.0" diff.
The TA63 shares the same diff as the 86 ~ 88 GA70 with 1GGE or the 88 onward GA70 with 1GFE.

A GA70 from Aug 88 with the non turbo 1GGE has the same 8.0" diff as the turbo.

The TA63 will probably have a T or F series, and the mounting points and methods for both kinds are quite different to the G series diff in the 1GGTE GA70, although I've seen a 1GGE GA70 with an F series but non LSD.

The 2 3tgte Celica/Carinas I know well both have LSD fitted.
Both of them are 7.5" F series diffs - code on the build plate on the firewall is:
F293 F=7.5" 29=4.1:1 ratio 3=2 pinion LSD
Look on your build plate. Where it says transmission Look for a code like F292, T282, F293, F295 (for example)
If the last number is a 3 or a 5 it is LSD (presuming that it is the original diff). If it is a 2 or a 4 it is an open diff.
It could be that the LSD has worn out and needs new clutches. This could cost you $400 or more to get new clutches plus fitting.
