AFM disconnection

Postby Adamal » Thu Jun 24, 2004 8:01 pm

I was wondering if there is any disadvantage to disconnecting the air flow meter from an SW20??

Cheers
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

I thought you had an NA SW20? If so it should be MAP sensored if not your engine won't run if you disconnect it. Why would you want to anyway?

must be the air temp sensor....

if u disconencted the AFM, you still can start the car, but you won't able to run or rev it... it will just die...
