ECU Suggestion

Can anyone recommend a decent piggyback system for a 4AGTE? As much as I would like to get a LEM4 its just too much money right now. Engine-wise its prettymuch finished but I'm a little worried about fueling (running 10psi to start with is the plan).

Other question, if I simply put in these 440cc VR4 injectors (yes, low impedance like the GTZ ones I'm using at the moment) would that prevent leaning out on 10psi with stock computer or would it overfuel a bit too much to run properly?

As I said, everything is pretty much sorted as far as the engine goes, just wanting to make sure the fueling side of things isn't going to let me down

Cheers for any advice

btw, I've had a search and read through a few thread regarding full engine management system on here and didn't find what I wanted to know.

There really is no such thing as a cheap piggyback, you'd be better off to save your $$$ & buy a Link or similar, that will control fuel/spark & boost as you'll get a more driveable car that will generally produce better/more consistent results & be easier to tune. A LEM V4 installed & tuned should set you back around $2k depending on extras, that paying for an install & tuning.

If you put the 440cc injectors in it may or may not be lean at the top end on 10psi boost, have you upgraded the pump/regulator/lines etc to handle the extra fuel needed. It will if it even runs be rich as $&#$% at idle, you could possibly get away with running a rising rate regulator to help even the mixtures out but I doubt you will get a satisfactory idle/low rpm setup.

Hmmmm.... that sounds like an offer I really want to take. I just have to get a final price of what the engine stuff is gonna be costing me before I know how much money I'll have to play with. If you've still got it in a couple of week I might be keen on that offer Matt

And I'd quite like to know what they're worth too Bazda. And damn you for making me want to paint my car now :P
