Blitz 'Compressor' System

Postby spader » Tue Aug 10, 2004 2:01 am

Hi

I was talking to Derek Cecil on the weekend about his Altezza and what Supercharger he got and he said it was the Blitz one. Took it up to 200KW at the wheels. Was wondering if any of you guys have this unit or know of a Blitz agent in NZ that I could ask for a price on one.
Derek was in a rush so I didnt get to ask him the price

Andrew Fabrin [Msport] is the Blitz NZ agent, drop him an email gtir@ihug.co.nz and he should be able to get you a price. Be warned, he takes a little while to respond sometimes ;)

Made that power easily & with a full aftermarket ecu as opposed to the blitz ecu & possibly a different drive ratio(more boost) I'm sure you would see more power. The blitz kit seems very well engineered, but I'm pretty sure the intercooler on that car is not part of the kit & is an extra. Can't quite remeber what I was told as it's a while ago that this car was on the dyno. This was only for a power run to satisfy the Targa organisers, however the air/fuel ratio also got checked & also knock/detonation was monitored but nothing of any significance was reported from memeory.

Oh great , I was looking at virtually exactly the same thing just then

Here is the link from blitz

http://www.blitz.co.jp/new-product/comp ... system.pdf

The most part of it is written in English, you will be tell which one is which easily. The thing is, it is written in Jap font, so you have to first install jap version of acrobat viewer and install on top of your existing acrobat viewer, so your existing acrobat viewer get extra font and now capable of reading Jap.

Now according to this PDF file, RRP for this altezza set is $417,900 Yen

from today's exchange rate, thats about $5765 NZ, but I am sure you will be able to get cheaper then that as just about everything that is made in Jpan are sold cheaper outisde jap so etc.

Another place you can ask, this is from blitz website

Rota Speed
Newzealand
Address P.O.BOX 34461 Birkenhead Auckland
TEL +64-21-639-759

give this a try, best of luck

Now give me a hand, I am looking for the supercharger for 1MZ-FE einge this is camry basically, I have found TRD for older 1mz-fe but not new one ie 2002~2004, I looked everywhere but without much luck, I start to question weather there is suchthing at all. I think I will get some translator and write to blitz for make some, as my Estima is running this engine so that will be great if I have some performance upgrade etc.

cheers
