Oil catch tank for a Turbo car.

Postby GT-T » Thu Sep 02, 2004 3:10 pm

Just wondering what is the best way to install an oil catch tank for a turbo engine.
Most of the people install the tank in between the PCV and intake manifold.
If I install the tank as the "usual" way. would that affect the boost of the intake? since the oil catch tank connect between the PCV and intake manifold, would it takes a while to pressurise the tank with compressed air from the intake? Or should I add another one-way valve in between the intake manifold and oil catch tank?
I know oil catch tank is a good thing for turbo engine, but I don't want to increase too much lag from it.

Anyone got an idea?
