Clint man, have you had a wheel alignment?

it's commonly called tracking where one wheel will follow the road and not drive in a straight line - 101s are pretty bad for it - my one is nasty to drive after I put 17's on it.

new bushes help...

Is it pulling or jerking?
Sounds like the alignment to me

this will be checking wheel balance, which is a different thing my friend.

id say check all the bolts on the arm, or any play if neccacary.. if its just pulling the left/right whilst driving, could be alignment, or if its just happened since the new control arm..
now the car jerks abit to the left/right when i go over bumps or down a driveway so does the steering wheel.

this meens your suspension travel, is interfering with the tierod ends, therefor jerking left/right when suspension is traveling.

maybe the incorrect control arm? Anyone will tell you that "steering angles" is a big factor (and big subject!) in the cars operation. when one angle fukks out, it plays around with more angles, which can affect things like uneven load on bearings, handling ability etc etc

go back and get them to check it out,
sounds like it could possibly be a loose ball joint or sumthing they havent tightened.
ive seen a couple of fkd and loose lower ball joints and wheel bearings, that when driving suddlenly jerk left then back to the right. or right then left.

if its the wheel bearing, they are known for flogging out the hub, when the bearing fails or is loose, if that happens ya have to replace the hub

yep, this is balancing. Its piss easy to balance a wheel, just take all 4 wheels to a workshop, they'll do them for you ina jiffy 8)

if its from around 80 and u have aftermarket wheels it could need hub rings if the wheel isnt sitting central on the hub

Well I'm almost certain it will ease the problem but may not make it go away entirely...

there's the problem.
check all those joints again.

there only needs to be a small bit of play in those joints to totally stuff up the toe angles.
does it happen when you brake or accel

somethings definatly flopping around and moneys on those arms.
sometimes the play isn't apparent on the hoist untill you load up the suspension with the engine.

i had the same problem for ages, gave up myself and sent it to about three wheel alingers. none of them could fix it then i had another look myself and bingo.
