5K.....

Postby 3T-Rona » Thu Oct 21, 2004 10:03 pm

I have a 5k in my kp61, its running a 40mm dellorto sidey, lumpies, p&p and the rest of it. i was thinking of building up a nasty lil 4Age turb's to slap in it but i get a this 'nah stick with the 5k' shit....... Why, give me sum reasons and i may think about it.... I need power, not uncanny masses of it but u no, maybe a 11-12 1/4 as it already does a 15..... Help

also i recall someone saying something about 1g pistons or sumthing fitting in a 5k....

http://www.club-k.co.nz is probably a good place to start. A few guys (and girl) there have got blown k series engines and you'll definately have to go FI to pull an 11 or 12s 1/4 with the 5K or 4AGE.

its safe to say that 11-12 sec passes from a N/A k series engine, is pretty well impossible. U can try tho

as much as i love the k series motors, u want a 12 sec pass, put a performance in it.

yeah, times dont drop that quick with a bit more power, you need a LOT more power to make those times.

Done some phat 4k & 5k turb starlets. Pretty cool & a lot of K fans right into them, which is neat.

But once you go AGE, you dont really go back. Cheap power.... :D
