Bluetop leaky fuel rail

Postby MetalupYoAss » Mon Oct 25, 2004 7:23 pm

when i turn on the fuel pump and pressure gets to the rail fuel starts pissing out of where the injectors go into the rail.. ive pulled it off like 5 times and re fitted the injectors and changed the seals still does it, anyone else had this problem? anyone know what it could be? is it possible the little spacers which go between the injector rail and the head are too big?

You've probably got the wrong orings on the injectors, they've got to be special fuel tolerant ones.

Either that or your fpr has seized shut somehow and the fuel pump is overpressurising the rail.
