Carina driveshaft same as AE-86 Levin/Trueno?

Just want to know if the driveshaft out of a Carina (fitted with 4age from factory) is the same as AE-86 Levin/Trueno? Also I found out there is 3 different types of diveshafts for the Ae-86 is any of them better (stronger) than the other? did the different type of driveshafts come out on face lifted models?
