You don't mention what you are running in the way of carbs but that isn't all that important. Choice of pumps would be either a Facet or a Holley, have no idea on model numbers etc as I would usually have one in stock sitting here, but sold the last one I had & just ring up & order the same as last time.

You'll also need a carby fuel pressure regulator, unfortunately they don't make the goods one we used to get but either a malapassi(non rising rate carby one) or a Holley carby one will do. Fuel pressure should be roughly 2-3psi on weber's & 1.5-2.5psi on dellorto's, delloroto's don't like high pressures.

Try the likes of Autoquip Marketing, Segedins,Pioneer Autoparts, cardwells etc in Auckland, HiTech Motorsport in Pukekohe, or Palmside Rallisport in ChCh they should be able to help.

The above pumps are competition/aviation style pumps & will generally out perform most other pumps.

the biggest problem with using a regulator on a Facet pump is the fact that the flow rate(not pressure) is reduced to the point that the carb(s) are short of fuel at the desired pressure.

on my TE71, using either a 2TG or a 3T i havn't had an issue running unregulated Facet pumps on 40mm Dell'Ortos, but on the bosses Escort running 48's it would flood down low and run like an utter pig at 4PSI unregulated, until you were higher in the rev range.

We basically always run a regulator on our carby setups regardless of carb make & we do holley, weber, dellorto, stromberg, solex,su's etc. I've yet to see a regulator restrict the flow that much but then again I have seen some pretty small regulators. We used to run a purolator one, but you can't get them no more. We run a holley one on 400hp+ V8's with no problems, that's with a holley pump though. There is several different model facet pumps with different output flows/pressures can't remeber the one's we normally use though without seeing what number/colour sticker it's got.
