Avgas or any of the competition fuels is a good start. You can always add some Toluene to those if need be. Else you could always try water or water/methanol injection but I've generally found your wasting your time unless you buy an Aquamist or similar top end setup as most setup's act like a steam cleaner & do bugger all.

You sir are a naughty naught person.

You're not likely to be picked up for it, but it is better for people to take an informed risk.

I did not know that!

Any reason why?

Avgas is heavily leaded, leaded fuels have been outlawed for road use.

you are better off putting tolulolene into the lower octane pump gas, as the higher one has so much crap in it to get the octane up. also avgas/race fuel does go off, you can loose 5-15 hp from gas sitting around.

The main reason avgas/racegas is illegal is the fact there is no road tax on it, & you don't pay road user charge son petrol powered vehicles.

Touelene is essentially paint thinner, you can buy it direct from Mobil etc in 20L containers. Don't spill it on paint, try not to spill it on yourself either as it's pretty nasty stuff & use in a well ventilated area.

I'd start off with a 10% touelene mix & increase upwards, I've yet to see much gains going past 33% touelene even on highly modified turbo's. Touelene does have a habit of attacking rubber seals etc so make sure your fuel lines, pump seals & injetcor orings etc are all in good shape & compatible. Most modern cars should be alright as pump gas contains some touelene.

If you still want better fuel then you'll have to look at specialty fuels like Elf PRF - the stuff all the rally guys have to use, it's designed to allow high boost with no knock & it seems to work well. There is other stuff like c16 & the like that work as good if not better but the prices of these fuels starts at around $3L & go upwards of $20L

yep it will go up from 98- 98.7

you need litres and litres of the octane boosters main ingredient, tolulene for it to raise it any significant amount, not a 500ml or so bottle
