You be drawing 50% more current than originally which may be alright but it might cause your car to burn down. If you up the wattage of lighting (or anything really) then you should upgrade the associated wiring.

You might be fine with that though

Well it probably wont be an issue but it might pay to check that there is reasonable wiring in place. Yeah, it would only happen if the lights were on, didn't think about that

its not much of a problem on levins from what iv seen... but on truenos its risky... since the fog lights are in a smaller housing made of crappyer plastic they get dark heat spots in the lense... looks ugly, and to find a 35watt its damn hard... ham toyota didnt know anything about them an sent me to nissan? ended up goen back an they found one... for $50!! its a hard choice since 2nd hand ones will prolly be on there last legs an its hard to find new ones.

Yip I did, they are just an H3 type bulb, but still 55W. They give off a real nice blue look too. When I bought them they were the highest 'K' rating I could find. Got them on trademe through a guy in hong kong. Doesnt sell em on there anymore tho.

Im sure someone does retail them but no, im not sure where. If you go on trademe and ask someone that has H4 bulbs theres a chance they will have them. PM TWSTD, im sure he will be able to get them if he doesnt already have them

eer, tried repco or supercheap? They both stock them. And there's half a dozen people retailing them on trademe. Not exactly hard stuff to find.

In an AE101 the main headlight bulb (which also has high beam) is H4. The fogs are H3
