AE101 Trueno Strange Idling

ok, most of the time it idles fine (IMO anyway!) but once shes warmed up, on the odd occassion when the air conditioning is on and i am stationary the revs will drop to 600/700 rpm. turning the airconditioning on and off does alter the revs but they drop down again.

also, if the car is idling and you give it some gas, the revs drop for a split second before going up.

help!!

yeah mine used to do that too when i tapped the right pedal.

could be the be fuel filter im told . . .

or try taking out the ECU fuse for 5 mins to reset that comp, that fixed mine right away.

look on ur fuse box, you cant miss it.

if it resets then your whole fuel management system starts afresh as it would be from factory i think.

give it a go and see what happens . . . i havnt driven my levin in about a month and a half so i cant remember if it fixed the pedal thing, but i recall it did?

lemme know what happens

this is normal. It will idle up when stationary to compensate the AC pump i believe. 8)
